Having finished all our productions with several weeks left in the semester, we were in need of a project for the lab class. I thought it would be interesting to have the students make a real proppy, prop that would involve making molds, mass producing pieces, adding electronics & paint. The Sky Captain ray gun looked cool, was available in a 3D printable format & could be modified to add lights.
