Radium Mine
The mine scenes revolved around the discovery of radium in a Canadian mine in the 1920's leading to its use on clock faces mostly by female workers and the resulting health impacts they suffered as a result.  The 40'+ long mine tunnel was constructed from heavy kraft paper, flame proofed, crunched & painted.
Fluorescent paint spatter & black lights mounted on framing used for radium reveal moment.
